had to stake the plant after a storm blew it over.

Aren't they amazing, Flcrazy? I'm thrilled with this plant..It's time I took some of the heavier blossoms off, I think... it flopped over during a thunderstorm...and the flowers are so heavy with water that they weighted it down almost to the ground!!

Lovely - do you disbud them etc. or just let them grow beautiful ?

Gorgeous! Our favourites again especially when combined with Cannas.

I know that I could probably increase the size of the blossoms if I debudded, but I'm going to let them flower as they will....I'll take the large flowers for the vase and let the new ones alone to see how they come along. Thanks Grenville, I've planted a mauve melange in that garden bed... I have the dahlias, cleome and lab-lab that are the same lovely colour...with the lacy white artemisia for highlight...

I don't debudd mine either Lori, I'm a fan of more is better ! After seeing my garden, that's not too obvious is it ?!
