Yes the flowering season here is Spring and Summer. They flower during the warm months. Right now I've got some producing seed pods after blooming.

I’ve only had seed pods on my large, old 19 year old desert rose (which died last year) once.

Sorry to hear you lost such an old Desert Rose. What a shame it never set seed. I've had a lot of luck growing them from seed and have given many away to family and friends.

Thanks! I was very sad when my big, old desert rose died!
It was due to lots of rain and unusually cool weather from January - June of 2023. It was the coolest weather in San Diego in 51 years, even for most of California (even the deserts).

Love it! Does it typically bloom in Spring and Summer for you? I have two with buds right now. My plants don’t typically bloom in Winter. Very strange.
