After attempting to germinate this plant for easily over 20 years…Success! There’s easily over 100 seedlings. I planted the seeds in May and June of 2023. They’re now a year and half old. Next Spring I will finally separate all the seedlings. Photo taken December 28, 2024.

Well done! Love it, especially after trying for so long. Only a gardener would get it. My granddaughter says to me "Nan, I've never seen anyone get so excited about something green coming out of "mud".
The day I don't get excited about it I think I'll give up growing things. On the plus side I had a nice garden voucher for Christmas and I might take a look to see if there's anything worth spending it on if the weather brightens.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments! 😎
I forgot to add that the seeds were taken from my mother plant which I purchased in December of 1999. The mother plant grows in my backyard under the big Super Nova Angel’s Trumpet tree or under my shade structure. It doesn’t flower every year, only every few years, then it takes 3 to 4 months to develop the purple berries.
