Croton

This croton was dug up a month or two ago. It was in way too much shade and didn’t grow any leaves this past summer. I moved it to this spot where it receives more sun and now is flushing new growth. Photo taken December 28, 2024. Not sure which variety of the croton.

Oh yes, it receives lots of water. It’s in the middle of my pineapple apple patch.
I wished I had moved it during summer. It would be a lot bigger by now.

Looking quite happy in that spot. Keep up the watering while its young. I love the ones with these deep dark red and bright pink colours.
