Well, this has been beautiful, but it will be the last one I think. I don’t really have room for big herbaceous plants like this. But what a glorious hit of yellow. Behind it you can see the Callistemon which is covered with flower buds!

They are lovely Karen, but as you say, too big for your garden.
Maybe you should take a photo of the wildflower area.

Karen, have you seen the incredible amount of wild flower seed mixes now available? I was looking at them recently, packets of seeds, balls of seeds, all different mixes.
Today we were waiting at traffic lights, the grass verges have been left to grow and there were lovely tall plants with blue flowers, no idea what they were though.

Rose, I will when it gets a bit better. Yes Shirley, loads of mixes. I have been buying some and also mixing my own!

Sounds like the makings of a very attractive wildflower area.

If the birds don’t hoover up all the seed Shirley! Sowed more today, including our native Verbascum.

What I really need is a lot of seed to scatter in the wildflower area in front of my house, across the road. They would be fantastic in there!
