Variegated Lemon Thyme

Thymes are just the best herbs are they not? They give so much! I’ve had to take out the oreganos because they got so big and woody. I planted them in the wilderness opposite the house along with some Alchemilla, sanguisorba, a rosemary and a big Salvia. You see the bigger herbaceous are starting to crowd my garden already. But as long as we have a wilderness, I will always have somewhere to put them! Thymes however…especially the smaller ones, are perfect!

We have this one, it’s lovely. I’ve a few Mediterranean herbs which emit such pleasant scents around the garden.
It’s a great idea planting or replanting over in the ‘wilderness’ area, Karen. We’ve done similar on the bund hill over the years.
