There’s millions of jacaranda trees still flowering here in San Diego, CA. These two were in a little park in Kensington, there’s about twenty jacaranda trees to the left. Photo taken June 13, 2025.

Lovely to see the trees in flower - even in June! That's something we are not very accustomed to here in the UK! I imagine they wouldn't be able to grow in our climate here. :( But with climate change who knows if in a decade's time it wouldn't be possible? We are having a heatwave at present with temps reaching the 30sC! The winters are warmer as well & we hardly see frosts any longer some years. Roses that used to begin flowering in our gardens in June now begin in April!!!
