Lori, something round or dome shaped, a pine would also give you the contrasting texture, something like Pinus densiflora 'Alice Verkade' green all year, or Pinus mugo 'Wintergold' green in summer turns gold in winter.

This is "torture", but a most welcome vision of Paradise! Fantastic - and not a flower in sight! Look at those colours, and shapes! Wow!

lovely!! wonderful planting... must find some of the erica... I have a bluespruce with a Siberian Cypress and I need a third evergreen to make up a threesome... can you recommend a compatible shrub or tree? I have the tall linear and the prostrate horizontal..what should I add?
