Can I ask what a lace wing box is for? Do you try to attract them? Are they useful in the garden?

The box is to try and attract them, but i think it will be used by any insect that likes to seek shelter when the weather is bad or in the autum for hibernation. Lace wings, adult and young feed on aphids and other soft bodied insects.
