this is a very old variety but gives loads of flowers and really stands out in the garden

How do you manage to overwinter your fuchsias in Orkney.

hi kat ,
i tend to keep at least one of each type in greenhouse over winter in the garden i tend to plant fuchsias a bit deeper than normal and mulch round the base so that roots are well protected from the frost. we do not get a lot of frost here due to the gulf stream so we are lucky in that way. wind is the biggest problem
