This has been extremely slow to develop, for some unknown reason. I hope we can see some fruit here. Chosen for our theme as the "Wizard of Oz" is often referred to as being America's first "homegrown" fairytale storybook for "children".

Thanx, Wohli! I'll persevere! Don't understand why this has been so slow this year, when everything around it in the greenhouse is fruiting. My "fear" is that we'll soon run out of sunshine hours and warmth. I can give it the latter - but not the sunshine time it needs now.

Not YET, Lyd, am going "mad" in this age of high tec, it's taking ages, maybe early next week (have just finished work so am here using the facilities (don't tell anyone, tho). My "Fairytale" aubergines are at last beginning to fruit, tho, two months later than should do, and indoors, now that I don't have a greenhouse (but in the conservatory).

I was about to give up on my one little plant , but suddenly it started to put on lots of new leaves and fruit. I guess it just needed a lot of heat. It has pretty tasty fruit also!
