Delonix regia - Royal Poinciana at Fullerton Arboretum, CA

This is the old large Delonix regia located at Fullerton Arboretum, Fullerton, CA. This picture was taken October 4, 2007. It has some blooms, however, it was well past-peak blooming period. The tree to the left is a Cassia grandis (Pink Shower Tree) another beautiful tropical flowering tree.

Pollyannaever, thank you for the kind comment. It is too bad the tree was not in full bloom. It is stunning when it is in bloom with its orange/red flowers.
