Okay - I'm ticked!!!! I was talking to my seven year old granddaughter on the phone last night when my 2 1/2 pound yorkie needed to go "potty". Without thinking, (That was my first mistake) I opened the door and stepped outside with her. I have to always go out with her because she is so small and, afterall, I am her Mommy and protector against all things, large and small.) Well, you guessed it, I stepped on a scorpion and got stung (for the second time in my life) Remember, I'm on the phone long distance with my granddaughter who thinks grandma is awsome. Well, I said "damn" right in her ear and she did not know what to say so I just explained I had been stung by a scorpion and she just continued to tell me about her day at school. MEANWHILE, I scrambled into the kitchen to take two of my anibiotic pills (for my heart) and an allergy pill and to put ice on the affected area and all this I did while my granddaughter talked on and on. I called my son later to explain the expletive in case my granddaughter happened to mention it in passing. What an experience. No ill effects as I am here writing this message this morning. I took this picture of the critter this morning. I guess I got the last laugh, HE'S DEAD!!! (he's about 2 1/2 inches long) This picture makes him look fearsome.
