In the forefront is a spanish dagger plant and behind that is an Agave Americana. The Agave is almost 5 feet tall. The stump to the left was a Mesquite tree. There is another Mesquite stump about 18 inches to the left. I plan to put a plank of wood on top of the two stumps to form a bench.

Excellent idea for the bench. It's always better to use what's there. A beautiful example of an Agave Americana.
