I just checked Wikipedia...and the first site that came up said that they are edible only when COMPLETELY ripe...poisonous when green...now to confirm that with Britannica...lol.

Ah yes Lori, but how can we know that is COMPLETELY ripe !! Not to to risk a poorly tum, I think I'll stick to good old blackberries ....!!!
