I've never heard of anyone who didn't rave about this begonia...It's been around a long time...I had one back in the 60's and if I see another one, it's mine! lol... It will grow tree-like if you keep potting it on...Mine topped out a the ceiling...(7ft) and would have kept going but I decided to trim it back and could have had a forest but as Greenthumb says cuttings make great gifts. Mine bloomed in winter...and the blossoms were gorgeous. A warm pink, chrystaline, looked like rose chrystal drop earrings...:-o !!

Thanks both of you! Mine has not bloomed yet but I expect it to do its thing this winter. Gifts of cuttings of it is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.

I've been growing mine for 2yrs, calling it angel wing begonia. I cut off 2-3 ft every few months. The sky is the limit I think. You'll have to tell me what you did if you get it to bloom. I advise trimming often to stimulate branching and new shoots. I keep mine between 4-5 ft. Trim at 6-7. Great gift plants from cut shoots! :-)
