Canna seed pods

Oh the night shot is terrific !~ I look at my canna seed pods every day.......they are so interesting.

due to the weather my cannas have not all flowered yet but I have one about to now about 3 ft tall.
As you say we should be grateful for the Gulf Stream which keeps our weather so mild.

Thank you all! another interesting feature is the seed itself. Black and very hard...I thought they'd make good beads if a way could be found to penetrate that seed coat...tough as nails!
