Black Windmill

We were surprised at the colour of this lovely windmill. Quite a few buildings were painted black, probably a weather proof coating for the salty air. I think in Sussex and Essex they use this protection.

It was a holiday let Hywel and there were people staying, but didn't mind me taking the pic. Would love to have stayed there. We have one locally which still grinds corn, will take a pic next time I go past.
