Pagoda 21 September

Oh WoW, that looks Amazing..The way the light's shining through the Pagoda, and the planting is Fab, all the different foliage colour, Amazing FS..

It's an exciting time of year - the acers are just about to turn colour.

I have an acer, i noticed this morning one of the tips was turning redder than the rest, its my first year with this beauty, sooo looking forward to seeing it in its Glory FS..

In our photos you will see that last autumn the best acer colour we had was at the beginning of November - much later than we expected! This year we're trying to predict a date for the BBC Gardeners' World to film. We have pencilled in 24 October, but may have to change that. The film crew say that they get advance warning of the expected date for best colour from the large estates such as Hilliers.

Oh, this is one of the best pics I've seen! I want to be there! Just incredible as usual.
