even the sunlight is cooler as our planet tilts...winter is coming I can smell it on the wind, even though the zinnias bravely bloom.

LOL...and How!, Chris. it has a trunk on it that is six inches around...two seasons ago I transplanted it from the front garden...it was about 6 ft tall! now it's shading the neighbour's backyard! has to be at least 25 ft tall...which is about the max for them, I think. I'm putting in a fire pit in the back yard for those chilly nights...

Yep it's in the air here too. Nights are feeling chilly and the wood burning stove is going. Does your Russian Olive grow like mad. I planted one last year and it's doubled it's size in a year.
