Lori, this is another beautiful flower I would like to have - is this a sun worshipper or does it like to be cooler in the shade?

It seems to like the sun ... this one is planted where it receives full sun from about 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. likes water too... I kept the little seedlings well watered and they came along quite quickly.. it is planted in a very crowded bed and doesn't seem to mind being cheek by jowl with red lettuce and Forget-Me-Nots. Having said that I'm wondering how that would translate to Italian sun...perhaps they would like a little more shade...but if you potted them up on your balcony they would probably be happy under the grape vines!!

Good idea - how big does it grow?

12 to 15 inches max...
