Last spring I posted pics of the mat of blossom on the Viburnum tilobum...here are all the lovely berries that the birds won't eat!

I found someone in manitoba who has bohemian waxwing eat her viburnum and grosbeaks, but she draws them with a feeder in front of the bush. ANy other commentators had no luck either.

Another disturbing thing I've been hearing lately is a decline in bird population... wonder if that's the case with the Cedar Waxwings..or perhaps I'm too far East...they migrate up the Mississippi valley to the Great Lakes which is a long way west of where I am... In any case the berries are pretty with the snow on them!!
