I grow Verbena bonariensis too. It's seedlings pop up all over the place. I saw it at Groombridge Place once in a huge clump about 1 metre square, but it's just as good weaving through other plants. It takes up no room at ground level so we can pack other stuff around it.

I love this plant too, very few plants bloom like an annual while being a perennial.

This is one of my favourite plants too. It has self-seeded all around my garden, meaning that all of my friends now have some too!
