Queen Palms are in that top 5 most widely planted trees in San Diego. They are probably the most widely planted palm here...especially as a street tree. This picture was taken in Winter.

In the Western Edition of Balboa Park, San Diego...Kate Sessions a famous horticulturist from the early 20th Century planted Queen Palms in
1900 that are still there and thriving. Most of those Queen Palms are 80+ feet (25+ meters) tall.
