Mussa Buju, I think thats how you spell it :) Its still has its winter protection on Delonix, I have my fingers crossed it has survived..

Do you mean Musa basjoo - Japanese Fiber Banana? I know this species is root-hardy to -20 degrees F/ -29 degrees C. They are very wind tolerant and are very beautiful. They are grown in CA. also (they don't die to the ground though).

Basjoo, Yes Delonix, hehe.. Can't believe i said Buju hahaha..Good news about being Root hardy to -20, Ive had a look under the Straw and it looks Black, but im confident it will be OK.... Im still giggling..

Love banana's but forget to bring them in and they turn to mush,hence the name!!!!!!
