Yes Delonix there in the ground, and they are Windmill Palms, I love them....

Yes, they are beautiful palms. They are grown all over CA and grow quickly. They are one of the hardiest palms in the World. Do they grow to to 40 feet/ 13 meters tall there? I've only read that they don't grow as tall as they grow in CA...however, I've never been able to confirm that.

The Largest one I planted about 7/8 yrs ago, Maybe 2/3 yr old when i bought it, its about 2mtrs tall, so not really fast growing, But Plenty new leaves in the last couple of years..

Bad news about this Canna too, it didn't survive, I overwinter it in the Ghouse every year but last year i decided to leave it outside and protected it with compost straw and more compost and we had the worst winter in years! I could Kick myself..

I know the feeling, I lost all my cannas this year...!!!!

YDD bring them indoors, i did last year just before frost came and it kept flowering untill xmas .
