Romeo's mum, Napoleon's mum and another neighbour who rushed in to have her photo taken !!

It seems almost everyone in Italy is someone's Mum? :o)

I'd like some tips to grow them in my balcony!

Thanks Aleyna. No I don't grow tomatoes (or perhaps shouldn't) as technically this is the street pavement!! I do however have pots of basil etc. - even miniature pomegranates - which you can see from my older pics and pots and pots of flowers to add a bit of colour and spice to bare old stony walls.

Thanks Marguerite - yes it was that magical moment just before the sun sets. That tower you can see on the right was built in the 1200s and the houses along the left side (including mine which is just beyond the tower) date back to the 1500s. You'll find that palm tree crops in almost all of my photos !!!
