Poaannua : Are these flowering now ?

Thanks Janey.
Terratoonie. They are still flowering,, in fact it is still flowering. After several years where they came up all over the place. This year this is the only one , but it has flowered for months.
I had a quick glance through the window (it is raining,, surprise surprise)and despite the rain there are still one or two flowers.
Sorry about Colchicums, but I have only grown them once and they disappeared,, This picture was in my Son's garden.
You need to keep the bulbs through to the Winter so that they can build up flowers for next autumn with those spring leaves, giving them as little root disturbance as possible. Sounds as if that could be difficult.

I love these too, and was excited to find some cream ones mixed in with my orange ones.

Hi Gillian . They are a real joy to me and I fear I will have to sow a new batch as this one has kept flowering because it doesn't set seed. I always sow the mixture but after as year or two end up with this typical colour or maybe brighter orange.

I'll have to check on mine to see if they have set seeds.
