My childrens lettuces (and my toes!) grown in an inside out tyre (before the slugs came whilst we were on holiday)

most of them. It's amazing how much lettuce slugs can eat. there again, it's amazing how much lettuce my daughter can eat too!

They'll eat children's lettuces -
everyone's lettuces. :o)

You'd think that the slugs would be "tyred" climbing up to reach them! The lettuces do look worth reaching, though - lovely!

I was wondering... how did you turn the tyres inside out? We've a pile of them up in our new community garden and I'm wondering how to jazz them up a bit.
