well Amy ye will all be invited to their big day lol

If my prospective son in law brought boss lady flowers, Amy, I would think it was serious too. I would be very quickly asking daft questions like 'What are your prospects, young man?' Thank goodness all mine are gone. If I'd known about grand kids I'd have skipped a generation.

That particular incident is best forgotten Dee. That particular grandson is nearly forgiven and may just get a proper Christmas present this year and not a jar of pickled onions and a set of thumb screws. He'd only 'mend' the thumb screws anyway.

OK Irish but most people with youngsters in the family will no doubt have experienced similar. I bought an art deco (which I love) clock with a 1 year movement. I won't bother going back through old bank records but I think it was about £300. After some months of regular visits from my son's family, Nicholas noticed that it had gained 2 minutes so he decided to 'mend' it for me...............with a tube of superglue to slow it down. The only specialist clock and watch repairers in this area work very slowly. I think I was without it for about 6 months. And the £140 it cost to have it cleaned I am permanently without. It is very difficult to pry a seven year old's pocket money out of him week after week. Especially one as inventive as Nicky.

ohhhhhhh nooooooooooo,,,,,,,,,, i know he was only trying to help but i hope he didnt go on to mend anymore things for you lol
