There are pitcher plants that grow in the swamps in Northern Ontario..but they aren't as exotically coloured as this one!... great specimen...Is this your first year with pitcher plants or are you founding a dynasty?

A dynasty...lol, I wish..! I've grown two different varieties for a couple of years. Wish I could afford a dynasty of them, unfortunately these little devils are pretty pricey here.

Can imagine... need to bring a Brinks guard when purchasing!!? Have you seen Sarraceniacs page? I know Muddiwellies has Darlingtonia pic's posted. In the "what was I thinking?" vein...I could have found Sarracenia for my pond/bog garden!!! lol...too soon old, too late smart! wish I knew what next year was going to bring!

No I haven't seen Sarracenias's page yet. Do I need to go ahead and grab a napkin , so I can wipe away all the drool...lol. I don't know what you are talking about "too late smart", it's extremely obvious you've been a very bright, gifted individual all your life girlfriend...lol. Wish I had half your talent and creativity. As far as next year goes....I think if you get moved into your new place in early spring, you will be acting like a kid in a candy store...lol.
