Beautiful colour, I had this on a previous house and loved it. I used to cut some of the tendrils to press, they look so pretty on dried flower cards.

I think the only people that didn't like it were people coming to the house during the flowering time - attracts bees and hornets like crazy!

the VC here is on the north end of the house away from the entrance...but near to and covering some bedroom windows... the sparrows loved it and even nested in part of it.

Hi Whdebor! Are you new to goY...or just checking out the plant files? We sold the house in this pic last fall and have moved...I didn't bring any of the VC with me...but I have found a vine growing on the property that I will have to put on a question page as soon as it gets leaves. I think it might be a VC but it's growing on a Tamarack and has killed the lower branches with shade. going to have to build a torii or a trellis for it. the older branches are about an inch thick!
