Only one of the stars as it is now out of season, usually flowers early Summer,bu this one had been cut back.

Hi Terra. I wish it would but regret to say it needs to be frost free . However it does make an interesting dot plant on the Rock Garden which looks a bit dull after the Aubrieta etc. have finished flowering. I noticed you like Aubrieta. In the long ago I used to sell these by Mail order.As did my Father in the 1930s.

Yes, you can see all the Aubrieta in my latest photo of my front garden, I uploaded yesterday. Fascinating that you and your father sold mail order Aubrieta. Some of the Aubrieta you can see in my photo (the pale mauve) is from cuttings in the garden where I was as a child.
Slugs don't seem to chew my Aubrieta, even the young plants. But when I try to grow little Campanula in the same area, the slugs and snails chomp away. Any advice please? Sarra recommends beer. What say you?
