These trees grow to 130+ feet (40+ meters) here in California. They usually have a very long white trunk with a lot of foliage high up in the tree. It is common practice though to thin these trees out. The Santa Ana Winds will literally destroy these tree if not thinned.

We are expecting a strong Santa Ana Wind event for the next two days hopefully, we don't get the horrible, destructive fires like last year.

I have noticed some Eucalyptus species being reclassified into Corymbia.
One of my favorite trees is E. ficifolia which is extremely common along freeways and parks. It has been reclassified into Corymbia also.
