This is another very common hedge plant. It bears edible fruit almost all year...and the blossoms are fragrant.

They taste exactly like a plum. They have white sap in the fruit though...and many people think they are poisonous. This plant is in the Apocyanaceae family which includes such genera as: Oleander, and Plumeria.
