Iresine lendenii is the easiest plant to grow. I grow many cuttings from my plant throughout the year and sell them for about $4 or $5 in a gallon container
They make a good filler plant and live a long time. My plant has been in the ground for about 5 years and is about 5 feet tall.

They don't grow that tall here because of the weather but they can make about 2 - 3 feet if they're kept in a sheltered place. They have to be cut back for the winter. Do you leave them outside all year ?

Hywel,
My large plant has been in the ground for about 5 years. This is a landscape shrub all year in San Diego, CA.
The largest Bloodleaf I ever saw was about 6 1/2 feet tall. My plant would probably be this tall if I didn't constantly cut it back to propagate cuttings.

I grow Iresines. I have to bring them in for the winter. They are a fantastic colour.
