It was buried by squirrel - we simply potted it up - and yes, I've seen your mighty Oak Janey.
It's not root-pruned Hywel, which I think is the bonsai process. Someone once told me that if it was planted in a very small pot to start with the leaves would remain small. This is it's third pot and I think I'm going to stop there.

I might try that. There are plenty of acorns about now. I'll see how it goes.

Iv a Baby Oak Tree growing in my garden 2 magnoliatree & im going 2 pot it up once the leafs have all fallen ,i beleive a squirrel buried mine 2 as iv been finding acorns in weird places in my garden over the last few wks&iv had a glimse of a Grey Squirrel running across the top of my garden fence:)
