Found him wandering in the garden. Very small (8 ounces) - too tiny to leave outside for the Winter. Is now eating/drinking and sleeping - like any little baby. The smell is "something else" so I'm cleaning him out every day.

Thank you for being so kind to wild creatures.

We actually have quite a collection Ams. Two really big hedgehogs in the garden, which we feed - my husband built a feeding station, which local cats can't get at! A male blackbird, which waits on the step outside our patio window - and taps on the glass if we don't see him quickly enough! A squirrel which "owns" our nut-tree and steals all the nuts before we can get to them. We did have a really beautiful "picture book" fox, but we stopped feeding him when one of our neighbours bought chickens and he has gone elsewhere - hope someone is looking after him.
Love your comment TT.
