Lantana Camera (Verbenaceae)

This shrub flowers from may to october and range in colour from white through yellow to brick-red.The flowers darken as they age,so that two ore more colours can be seen in one head. Can be grown in a greenhouse or treated as tender bedding plant.

What an unusual shrub. It looks really pretty with the mix of colours.
How big does it grow? Could I grow it in a pot and over-winter it in a cold greenhouse?

unfortunately this shrub is not growing in my garden, not enough shelter pic taken october 2008
in portugal.I have done a follow up of this plant..
Height 1-4ft,spread 1-3 ft. got this information out a garden book, so I would think this plant could be grown in the south of the uk

I've just looked up the plant and it says that the leaves and stems when crushed smell of (quote) "cat pee "!
So maybe it should be sited at the back of a border. Lol. :o)
