Definitely NOT a hole dug by Lassie.
She digs holes MUCH bigger than that. :o)

she prefers the centre of the new lawn for digging. or any spot that has just been planted with bulbs. my tulips have been planted three times now

Robbie feels obliged to dig whereever I have boosted a plant with bonemeal. He thinks he's digging up a nice juicy bone!

I am going to build a sun room there sandra, i dug the hole to see how deep i need to go for the foundations, the main work will done in spring'
