Well actually Marguerite - it's still quite warm with temps in the 20s and evenings are very pleasant and balmy - luckily we're not in winter coats yet! Perhaps that winter look is due to light of the sunset and the dark of the valley - as I said in an earlier comment to you regarding the sunset olive tree, this was taken as I walking up the starirway from the carpark overlooking the valley.
