Weather here this evening is chilly and wet, with strong gusty winds.
Not nice, but I guess not as bad as in Newfoundland.

If you brought that geranium indoors,
as a cut flower in a vase, would it bloom ?

Bonsai is doing quite well thanks.
He even did a couple of 'easy' things from his trick practice this afternoon because I want to get back to a tiny bit of normality, and by doing just a little, he thought he'd had his turn at tricks. :o)

I am bringing some of those geraniums inside shortly, funny you would ask, it will be the first year I will be trying it. I will be planting it, not using as a cut flower.
As long as they survive today's snow, which is melting as soon as it touches anything...

First frost here which will mean 3 inchs of salt on the road.

they are cutting back on using roadsalt here, mixing more dirt with it..

Ahhh.... sad to see the end of things, aye? It's supposed to get warm for a few days over here...would be nice if the perma snow holds off until well into December. There's a problem to put the green genius's to work on...make our roads safe to drive on without the salt...heard that catlitter is used mixed with salt but it's killer dusty in the spring...seems a trade off is the best we can do.
