Really nice plant.
I like the striped leaf effect.
But I'm looking for monkeys :o(

I have one that is about the same age of my monstera philodendron...it bloomed last year...white bloom...I was told if it had been a black bloom to get rid of it because that would mean bad luck...

Catfinch,

You're lucky it bloomed...it rarely blooms as a house plant. It does bloom here because they are grown in the ground. The flowers are always white as far as I know...however, I think the fruit which is like a small marble is brown or black.

I moved it from where it was tucked in with the monstera, it gets more light...my living area is upstairs so it stays warm, passive solar for the most part...guess it liked the change.
