Strelizia reginae - Bird of Paradise

~ are these in your garden? one of my favourite flowers!

i have a few in pots inside. i am going to try one outside next spring.

They truly do look like birds and the color is so vibrant...

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. This plant is not in my garden...however, I do have a large plant in my yard which is blooming now.
I'll post a picture of my plant soon.

Beautifull, I planted one in my garden and it just stood still :) its in the Ghouse for winter, ill try again next year...

This plant loves high-heat and all-day Sun. It also needs to be kept fairly dry.
My plant only receives water maybe10 times throughout Spring and Summer...however, it is well-established in the ground.

Ahhhh Delonix1, so it has no chance of survival in my garden. Bother..
