Tree invaded with Cactus

This is the tree outside my entrance that has a clump of cactus growing on it. The flowers of this cactus blooms once a year at night ...so beautiful, I am not sure what the proper name of the cactus is. Doesn't it look like little wriggling green snakes or Medusa's head more like it :-)

Yes it is a wonderful sight when you get to see them in their nocturnal bloom, overhanging the tree.
