I was just looking at bulbs the other day and thining I should get enough to make all my girls blooming plants for Christmas....these are fun.

Yes Irish, I think too that they are beautiful but that is the pic of the JParker catalogue where I bought the bulbs from.
I have planted someof the bulbs yesterday, now they are in the dark in a shed, I hope soon they will grow as beautiful as them.

last winter I put some glass stones in the bottom of a old but pretty glass bread baking dish with water up about half way on the stones with the bulbs nestled in the stones..I then put them under my kitchen sink until they sprouted little shoots to about 3 inches...I then took them out into the light and kept them with enough water and they did very well...I enjoyed them through most of the late winter months...

Catfinch, today I planted another 5 of them like I did last time but now that I am seening what you have done I am going to try your way too - whish me good luck. Have you already planted some this year?

Dear Catfinch, I got a couple of questions for you - did yoiu fed them and and what did you do with them after flowering?

Unfortunately they didn't flower much, maybe my house is a bit to hot for them.
Lets hope I will be more successful next year when I will plant them outside.
