Thanks for the comments guys. I hope to actually remember to get a photo of them while the blooms are open, I'll post it up if I do.

It's actually the gas meter that you can see in the background Marguerite, it's a nuisance actually because you have to be careful digging in that garden bed and can't plant things that get too strong a root system on it nearby such as tree's or large bushes.
