This is my Grandmother's Christmas Cactus. It is in her backyard patio.

This pics was taken in October of 2007...generally the flower buds develop and start blooming in Mid-November - February or March.

Wow! That Epi is incredible... they are very long lived plants...member Mikec has a pic of a 60 yr old one that belonged to his grandmother! Still healthy and blooming... I have only three of the Christmas type and they are into another flush of bloom at present...they bloom in December and again in March/April. Wonderful plants...living treasures.

Yes, they are very long-lived plants. This photo was taken before the flower buds have developed. I have seen them larger that this plant here in San Diego, CA.
