Yes, they are for real Jacque. There were sheets of them coming out just as the snow melted near the top of a mountain last April but this was the only clump we found without the markings. I posted a picture of a normal clump last week. Last time I checked, there was only one specialist nursery in the UK that stocked them though

They are very slow to increase Jacque. They don't set much seed, new corms are not produced in any great number and sometimes the plant just fades away. So I don't think they will become readily available unfortunately
