Dense cluster of Giant Birds of Paradise. There's thousands of stems all over creating large hedges up to 40 feet high.

The blooms are black, white and a little pink. Not as showy as Strelitzia reginae flowers.

I would hate it also. If you could see how many of these plants that are around the Disneyland resorts, hotels, parking lots and the side of the roads. One would fall over with how many gardeners it would take to keep these plants pruned up.
